“Bill” was born on February 3, 1934 in Reeds Spring the son of Chester and Orphie Cantrell Boyd. He was a lifelong resident of the area. He had done many jobs in his lifetime but mostly was a basket maker. He was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors are his 6 children: Connie Campbell (Tim), Sonny Boyd, Jackie Jones (Paul), Tony Boyd (Maranda), Rowdy Boyd and Kathy Clouse (Danny). Two brothers, Wade Boyd and Kenny Boyd. Two sisters, Norma Teague and Dixie Foster. 18 grandchilden, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Kathirne Boyd, two daughters, Judy Jones and Sue Robinette, a son, Jimmy Boyd, son-in-law David Jones, two grandsons, Bradley Jones and Michael Vincent. A sister Vesta Shepard and his step-mother Blanche Boyd.
