Joyce Parks, 96, widow of Lorenza D. "L.D." Parks, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born in Scott County, Kentucky on October 8, 1923 to the late Buford and Lottie Hinton Munson. Joyce was a member of Gardenside Christian Church and a graduate of Oxford High School. She worked as a telephone operator for many years.
In addition to her husband, Joyce is preceded in death by her brothers, Richard and Gene Munson.
Funeral service will be 2pm, Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1pm until service time. Chaplin Steve Nash will be officiating and burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
