Robert Paul Barnett, 74, of Wooster, died Saturday, October 19, 2019 at LifeCare Hospice.

Private services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice at 1900 Akron Road, Wooster, OH 44691.

Robert was born February 20, 1945 in Wooster to Glenn and Kathryn {Shobe} Barnett.

He graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Robert owned and operated Bishop’s Drive In. He also owned two local businesses, Star Video and Crystal Clear Water. Robert loved harness horse racing as well as had a love of animals. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians.

Robert will be deeply missed by daughter Jackie (Scott) Sharp of Avon; grandchildren Sophie and Jackson Sharp; brother Mike (Ellie) Barnett of Bowling Green; nieces and nephews, Heather (Randy) Yates, Lindsay (Steven) Aiello, Tyson (Elanda) Barnett, Lisa (Doug) Kleitz, Tiffany (Jim) Johnson, Michelle (David) Amrozowicz, and TJ (Daisy) Shamp.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and sister Susan Barnett.
