Linda was always taking care of others. She was supportive and a mentor to many. Linda loved going to Dale Hollow and being on her boat the "Lovely Linda II" with her friends and family. She cherished every moment spent making memories. When Linda walked into a room you knew you were loved because you could see it on her face. Through her battling cancer many friends returned that support and even when she was sick she wanted to get better so she could do more for others. Her moto through all her trials was "One day at a time, sweet Jesus." This last stay in the hospital was different and the family could tell. She wasn't scared to leave this world she was ready to go to her heavenly home. Linda gave her words of wisdom to those she knew needed to hear them and those that didn't receive them she knew they understood. Lovely Linda was faithful and she is now our Angel watching over and helping guide us along the way.
Linda was preceded in death by her father David Schwering; father-in-law: Robert "Pete" Nixon; brother-in-law: Craig Sacksteder; and Jane's mom: Erika Dora Newell.
