Alice graduated from Hampden Academy. Shortly after graduating she went on to work at New Franklin Laundry, where she worked for over 40 years.
Alice was an avid New England Patriots fan. She also enjoyed walking, and crocheting afghan's for local nursing homes. Camping and fishing with her longtime partner, Frank Watson, also brought her great joy.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Eddie; and partner, Frank.
Alice is survived by her siblings, Tommy, Billy, Tee, Sarah, Gordon, and their significant others; her children, Bruce and his wife, Debbie, Linda and her husband, David, Lewis, and his wife, Denise, Ben and his wife, Michelle; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of Alice's life 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith 163 Center Street, Bangor. Those wishing to remember Alice in a special way may make gifts in her name to the Alzheimer's Association of Maine, 383 US Route 1 #2C, Scarborough, ME 04074.
