Janet L. Wilhelm, 69, of Wharton, NJ passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ. Janet was born in Jersey City on September 12, 1944 to the late Eric Colombo and Anna Heuser. She lived in Hopatcong before moving to Wharton 15 years ago. She was a member of the High Life Ski Club in Rockaway and enjoyed outdoor activities, nature and traveling.
Janet is survived by her 3 sons Mark Acierno and his wife Trish of Hopatcong, John Wilhelm and his wife Noel of Hopatcong, and Steven E. Acierno and his wife Diane of Easton, PA; 4 grandchildren Alexandra, Gabrielle, Justin, and Lena; her significant other Brian Danziger of Wharton; and by her step-sister Helene Nardone and her husband Anthony.
Janet's Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (Corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover, NJ.
