Rachel's burial place is unknown. She was born and raised in Madison County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Samuel Frisby and wife Nancy (Maiden name unknown). Rachel married Rev. Richard M. Aldridge on January 17, 1866 in Madison County, North Carolina. She, her husband Richard, and their two children at the time moved from Madison County, North Carolina to Graham County, North Carolina sometime between 1870 and 1872. Rachel died very young between May 1876 and July 1877.
