William (Will) Phipps Cannon died on October 23, 2019 in Houston. He was born on May 25, 1940 in Hardeman, Texas to Otey Henderson Cannon and Waurene Tittle Cannon.
Will was raised in Abilene, Texas, and was a Graduate of West Point. He served in Vietnam as a Special Forces Officer and was made an Honorary Montagnard Tribesman. Following the war he became a trial lawyer.
His survivors include his wife, Jane Tyree McEldowney, his son Scott William Cannon, his daughter Kristin Ashley Cannon Kirby, and his granddaughter Tindal Malinak Kirby.
