Boone Sloane
Boone Sloane, 64, died Sunday at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
He was born April 12, 1925, to Oscar Sloane and Betty (Sheperd) Sloane. He was married to Betty Jean (Wirey) Sloane. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Daniel B. Sloane of Indianapolis; a daughter, Vicky Kyle of Tucson, Ariz., a brother, Cornelius Sloane of Claypool; and two sisters, Eva Inabnitt of Greenwood and Clara Addizio of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by four brothers.
He worked at American Can Co. in Indianapolis for 28 years, retiring in 1976 as an assistant mechanic.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
The Rev. Phil Bacon will conduct a service Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Wilson-St. Pierre Funeral Home. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

BOONE SLONE, 64, Indianapolis, died Sunday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Wilson-St. Pierre Funeral Home, Greenwood West, with calling from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 10:30 a.m. until services Wednesday.
He was an assistant mechanic at American Can Co. for 28 years, retiring in 1976. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors: wife, Betty Jean Wirey Slone; son, Daniel B. Slone; daughter, Vicky Kyle; brother, Cornelious Slone; sisters, Eva Inabnitt and Clara Addizio.
