Funeral services for Perry A. Morgan, Sr. will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2019, in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Brother Dale Mortenson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball.
The family requests that visitation be observed on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and resume on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Perry A. Morgan, Sr., 93, of Lumberton, Texas, formerly of Tioga, passed from this life, Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the residence of his daughter.
Mr. Morgan proudly served our country in the United States Army during World War II, and the Louisiana Army National Guard. He was a member of Walnut Hill United Pentecostal Church, Leesville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Dryden Morgan; son, Kenneth Wayne Morgan; parents, Louis Austin and Lula Willis Morgan and a brother, Marvin E. Morgan.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Laretta Morgan Hill, Mary Dianne Morgan and Sonia Morgan Miller; son, Perry A. Morgan, Jr. and wife, Fayrene Albert Morgan; grandchildren, Gayle Morgan, Rick Morgan, Amy Alexander and Morgan Blackwell; great grandchild; Damon Alexander; sister, Myrtle Morgan and a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Schexneider, Jeffrey Farris, Mike Butts, David Gibson, Homer Gibson, Jr. and James Edward Albert.
