Dennis Ray Chastain, 70, a lifetime resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at his home in Cleveland, TN.
Dennis was a devoted Christian and father who loved his family very much. He was a hard worker. Dennis finally won the race. He was of the Baptist faith, and was a member at Southview Baptist Church for many years.
He is preceded in death by his father Clifford Chastain; mother Beulah Chastain and brother Ronnie Chastain.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Judy Faye Chastain; sons Billy Chastain(Glenda) and Jerry Chastain, stepmother Agnes Chastain; brother Larry Chastain(Charlotte); sisters Norma Waley, Shirley Beard(Charles) and Joyce Wagner; grandchildren Dustin Chastain, Kristen Chastain and Macalah Sewell; great-grandchild Dezzaray Chastain and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 5-9 PM and on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 11 AM-1 PM with the service to follow all at Southview Baptist Church. The interment will follow at Tennga Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Rob Works and Pastor Justin Akins to officiate. Pallbearers are Billy Chastain, Dustin Chastain, Eric Couch, Jeremy Hewitt, James Pierce and Adrian Williams.
