Mrs. Weber was born August 31, 1896 to John and Anna Hueschen. She lived her early years on a farm northwest of Platte Center with her parents and family. On December 19, 1917, she married Charles Weber of that community and they farmed in that area until 1921 when they moved to Columbus where they have since resided.
Mrs. Weber was a charter member of, and active in, the Trinity Lutheran Church. She was also an active member of the Ladies Aid and Friendly Neighbors.
She is survived by her husband; children, Mrs. Benjamin (Arline) Perkins and Dale Weber of Columbus, Vernon of Grand Island, and Delbert of Omaha; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild; two sisters, Lena Lousberg and Anna Brunken; two brothers, Henry and John.

Ella's grandson, William (son of Delbert) loved his grandmother so much that he named his first daughter Ella, after his beloved grandmother.
