AIME DESAUTELS Peacefully on Friday, December 30, 2005 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Aime passed away at the age of 78 years. Aime was born in Terrebonne, Minnesota. During his early years, he farmed in Haywood, Manitoba. He later married Rita Tellier on June 2, 1951 and moved to Winnipeg, where he then worked for the City of Winnipeg for over 30 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Rita; daughter Gisele (Steve), sons Gerald (Sandi), Denis (Sandra), and Donald; and five grandchildren, Melanie, Daniel, Nicole, Joshua, and Justin. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital, Dr. Jose Francois, and to the many homecare workers who cared for Aime. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Boniface General Hospital Research Foundation, 409 Tache Ave-Room D1003, Winnipeg, Manitoba. R2H 9Z9 Cremation has taken place and a private family Celebration of Aime's Life has already taken place. The Desjardins Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 233-4949 or toll free at 1-888-233-4949.
