Last Riles For Former Benallo Man Funeral services for Frank Granger Jenkins, aged 91, of Fairview and formerly of Ben-alto, who died in Fairview Oct. 17, were held Tuesday from the Baptist Church In Benalto wilh Rev R, Allan of Benalto and Rev. J, Purdy of Edson officiating. Rurlal was In Benalto cemetery. Mr. Jenkins was born in Fray-ton, Iowa. He moved to Benalto in 1910 where he farmed and bought cattle. In 1927 he moved to Calgary, where he was the senior partner in Jenkins and Barhan Commission Agencies. In 1931 he returned to Benalto where he maintained a livestock purchasing agency until 1945. Mr. Jenkins was on the orl-g i n a 1 board of the Benalto Stampede and Agricultural Soc iety and was manager of the stampede for many years. Mr. Jenkins was president of the Benalto Booster Club from Its inception in 1915 until 1927. He was a life member of the BPOE in the United States. Mr. Jenkins was predeceased by his first wife, Josephine, in 1942; and his second wife, Emma, in 1951. He is survived by Mrs. Ruth Wilkes of Fair-view and a niece, Mrs. Doris Jensen of Griswold, Iowa. Honorary pallbearers were Everett Neilsen, Albert Johnson, Swan Anderson, Harry Earl and Stan Hooker, Active pallbearers were George Sterling, Jack McBride Max Simpson, Ralph Lougheed, Ted Heikinen and Lloyd Wells. Orme and McIntosh Funeral Chapel was In charge of arrangements.
