Michael Lynn Stark, 69, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away October 23, 2019, at his residence, with his loving family by his side.

Michael was born April 22, 1950 in Decatur, the son of Jacob Daniel and Norma Jean (Westbrook) Stark. He married Kathy L. Braughton, on February 14, 1970 at South Shores Christian Church in Decatur, Illinois.

Michael worked for Tate and Lyle in the process support department. He was a member of South Shores Christian Church. In his past he coached basketball, coached Gus Macker and his team was a 3 time Grand National Champion. He also coached JFL for his grandson's team. He was an avid Duke basketball fan and enjoyed golf, eating dinner and had an appreciation for old cars, gardening, remodeling, driving with his grandson.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy; daughters, Stacey Stark Pellettiere (Anthony), Brandi Winston (Derrick), and Andrea Barry (Joe); step-granddaughter, Shannon Suhl; God daughter, Haley Artime; sister, Carol Diane Richardson of Herrick, Illinois; grandchildren, Solomon, Amelia, Frankie, Max, Quincy, Satchel, Michael and Olivia; brother-in-law, Mike (Bunny) Braughton; many nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs Penny and Percy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jacob Daniel Stark, Jr. and brother-in-law, William Roger Richardson.
