Angela Ramirez, 100, of La Junta passed away on September 16, 2017 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center. She was born to Alejos & Maria (Ramos) Guerrero on March 15, 1917 in Pueblo. She married Ramon Ramirez; he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her nephew, Gabino (Rebecca) Torrez of La Junta; nieces, Alice (Carlos) Castillo of California; Magdalena Barela of La Junta; Carmen Trantham of La Junta; many nieces & nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews; great, great nieces and great, great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, two brothers and two sisters, and her daughter, Guadalupe.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. both services at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Henry Wertin officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
