Kay was born June 10th, 1933 in Teaneck, New Jersey. The family moved to Michigan, where she spent most of her childhood until their return to New Jersey in 1949. Kay attended Florida Southern College where she met her husband, Don, and later married. Kay loved being a homemaker raising their six children in Naperville, Illinois (eight years) and the town of Watchung, New Jersey (30 years), before downsizing to Chester, New Jersey. Kay was a member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Church in Chester, where Don served as an usher.
Kay was predeceased by son's Michael Edward, Stephen Walter, her daughter Janice Marie and sister June Notarianni. She is survived by her loving husband, Don, her son Gregory Buck, her daughters, Cynthia Davidson (Alex), Jennifer Buck Blaber (Michael), her eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and her sister Arlene Begen (Neal).
A Celebration of Kay's life will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 1 to 3pm and 6 to 8pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road, Chester, NJ (Corner of Rt. 206) (908) 879-3090. An 11am funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 8 at St. Lawrence Church, Chester, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Watchung, NJ.
