Vera Allen, 78, of Marshville, NC was born on June 5, 1941, the daughter of the late Robert Allen and Julia Mae Turner Allen.
Vera departed her life on Tuesday, October 22, 2019.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Piney Grove Baptist Church in Marshville, NC. She attended until her health failed.
Vera was a 1959 graduate of East Union High School of Marshville, NC. Vera worked at Schrader Automotive for over 20 years until she retired.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Allen and siblings, Rena A. Hillian, Barbara A. Jones, Wallace Allen and Rosia A. Hunter.
She leaves loving memories to one son, Robert D. Allen (Sunsik) of Marshville, NC; one daughter, Dorla A. Clark of Albemarle, NC; a nephew she raised, James Larry Allen of Jacksonville, Florida; a foster son, Micheal Maske (Lucille) of Norwood, NC.
Best friends, Ola Mae Taylor, Martin Ware and Janie W. Watts; special friends, Debbie McClendon, Macie Monroe, Tyrell M. Ware and Margette Rorie. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Services for Ms. Allen will be on Saturday, October 26, 2019, 4:00pm, Piney Grove East Baptist Church, Marshville, North Carolina.
Interment will be in the family plot of the Church Cemetery.
