Stephen “Steve” Ray Garner, 54 of Tullahoma passed away on Friday October 25, 2019. He was born on May 4, 1965 in Winchester to James and Dorothy Eslick Garner. Steve was the owner of Docks Unlimited LLC and served in the Army Reserve for 11 Years. In his free time he greatly enjoyed playing Golf, building fires in his backyard, and traveling with his family and friends. Steve was a colorful and boisterous person with a fun loving personality that loved to help others. He was a real handy man and could “MacGyver” anything. Steve loved his wife of almost 24 years more than anything. He loved and was extremely proud of his two wonderful sons. He loved his parents and brother with all of his heart. He will forever be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends. Steve is survived by, his wife, Melanie Wimley Garner; sons, Derrick (Monica) Garner, Blake Skeets , both of Tullahoma; parents, James and Dorothy Garner of Winchester; brother, Bill (Christy) Garner of Jefferson City, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; and many friends and family that were loved. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. on Sunday October 27, 2019 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A Memorial service will follow in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Rick Whitfield officiating. Interment will follow at Owens Chapel Cemetery.
