Jackie Lee Scott, 73, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019, at his home in Snyder, Colorado.
He was born September 7, 1946, in Imperial, Chase, Nebraska to Herbert Edwin and Ferne Lavina (Christensen) Scott.

Jack served in the US Army during the Viet Nam Conflict. While serving there he was exposed to agent orange, which has affected his health for several years.

Jack worked as a welder in the oil & gas exploration industry until his health issues forced his retirement. He was a member and past commander of the VFW #3551, the DAV, and served as a volunteer for hospice patients. He enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. He also liked riding motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife, Terri; 3 sons, Ken, Jackie Jr., and Mike Day; 2 step daughters, Neva Smith and Leah Rivas; 2 sisters, Beverly James, and Janet Rosenfield; 2 brothers, Richard Scott and Mike Scott; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. A military service will be held at the Heer Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at 11:00 AM. Military honors will be presented by the US Army Honor Guard and the VFW / American Legion Honor Guard. The service will conclude at the Mortuary.
