Billy J. Douglas, 84, of Boaz died Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Douglas was born on September 21, 1935 to Russell & Bessie Mae Douglas.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm om the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in New Canaan Cemetery. The family will receive friends on the day of the service from noon until the time of the service.
Mr. Douglas is survived by his wife Betty R. Douglas; daughter and son-in-law Belinda & Tony Lowe; son Ronnie Douglas; grandchildren Greg & Allison Stephens, Cole Garrett, Tina & Chris Cookston, Jason Douglas, and Rodney Douglas; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tony Lowe, Jason Douglas, Ronnie Douglas, Greg Stephens, Cole Garrett, and Chris Cookston. Honorary Pallbearer will be Rodney Douglas.
