Bobbie Nell Thornton, 84, a retired Carthage Company supervisor, died Thursday, October 24, 2019 at her home.
Visitation is 5 pm to 8 pm Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Wilcox Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at New Prospect Church from 1 pm until service time Friday. Services are 2:00 pm Friday, October 25, 2019 at New Prospect Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Saxton officiating. Burial is in New Prospect Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Thornton was a native of Neshoba County and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughter-in-law, Denise Thornton of Philadelphia; sister, Cathy Wells of Pearl; 2 grandchildren, Austin and Reagan Thornton.
Pallbearers are: Chris McLemore, Nathan Bryan, Garrett Joiner, Casey Wilcher, Johnny Wilcher, Tony Jolly, Scott Vowell, and Mike Thornton.
