Bobby Jean, confessed her faith in Christ at an early age; to bring her into the fullness of Christ, she attended Goodwill M. B. Church, her father's "Church home" Pastored by Rev. W. Earl Reed and the upper room fellowship ministries Pastored by Rev. Clara T. Reed which was her mothers "Church home". Knowing that working is a characteristic that God demands of all of us; she became involved in many activities that caused her to grow more and more into Christ's likeness.
She was united in holy matrimony to Joseph Pearson of Dallas, TX; on June 20, 1996, whom she leaves to cherish her memory and legacy along with her sister, Shirley Elder, Belzoni, MS; four brothers, Clifton (Deborah) Elder, Tuscaloosa AL; Marvin (Barnett) Elder, Indianola MS; Gregory (Nancy) Elder, Winona, MS; W. C. (Edie) McDade, Rockwall, TX; and uncle, Cleotha Elder, Chicago, IL; stepchildren Joseph Keanon (Marcia) Pearson, II, of Dallas, TX; and Maija M. Pearson Astronia, NY; one grandchild, Ava Marielle Pearson; and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Moses Elder, Sr., and Minnie Lee Williams, and brother, Moses Elder, Jr., who resided in Chicago, IL.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
