FOR MRS. PRICE
Mrs. Virgil V. Huff Entertains Limited Number at Tea, Saturday Afternoon,

Mrs. V. V. Huff was at home to a few friends Saturday afternoon [18 Jan 1913] in her own charming and informal way, that rendered the tea party one of unusual delight.

Mrs. J. L. Price of Taylor, Texas, whose friendship with Mrs. Huff, had been intimate, for so many years, as a neighbor and as a pupil at Missouri Valley college, was the guest of honor, and her presence added greatly to the pleasure of the afternoon.

The luncheon served about 5 p.m. included old country ham, hot rolls, brown bread, sandwiches, fruit salad on lettuce leaves, cream patties, celery and olives, with a last course of plum pudding with brandy sauce and coffee.

The ladies present, in addition to the honored guest, were Mrs. J. M. Penick, Mrs. James A. Walker, Mrs. Edgar S. Place, Miss Sarah Black, and Mrs. Baylis Rector.

Mrs. Huff's east Yerby home [315 East Yerby] is always cozy and attractive and the hospitalities are extended in a cordial happy way that renders it a delight to be her guest, and the congenial party of friends entertained Saturday afternoon found this to be true in the fullest sense.
