Dorman Clay Pendleton Obit

Funeral services for Dorman Clay Pendleton, 56, of Blessing were scheduled for 2 p. m. Sunday at the Taylor Brothers Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ronald R. Lynn officiating. Burial is scheduled to follow at the Hawley Cemetery, Blessing.

Mr. Pendleton was born Sept. 23, 1935, to Tyre and Myrtle Pendleton in Caldwell, Texas, and died Sept. 26, 1991, at Matagorda General Hospital, Bay City.

He was a Blessing resident for 25 years and was a member of the Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Alicia; a daughter, Sylvia; two sons, Clay, and David; three sisters, Jesse Mae, Bladys, and Ruth; a brother, Roy Hill Pendleton of Seguin; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jessie, Gary, Alfred, Darrell, Calvin and Jeffrey. Honorary pallbearers are Tony and Glan Grantham.

Arrangements are with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home, Bay City.
