Fiske had spent his whole life in Boonville where he was esteemed as a useful, honorable and upright citizen. For the past few years he had not been in the best of health and not long ago was at Clifton Springs in hopes he might return improved in health. Last Friday he suffered a relapse and upon advice of his physician went to Utica where he was operated up on, death following a few hours later.
Jerry A. Fiske was born in Boonville, June 21, 1861, a son of the late John and Delia Allen Fiske.
In 1891 he married Miss Georgia Daris, who survives. Their lives were saddened by the drowning of their young daughter, Reba, some years ago.
