Charlotte Joan Nelson, 86, of Midlothian, VA, formerly of New Berlin, WI., entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 17, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Nelson; parents, Hartley and Virginia Seymour; brother, Jerome Seymour; sister, Donnarae Hansen; and niece, Cheryl Hartson Miller; and is survived by her daughter, Debra Lynn Broxterman and her husband Greg; grandchildren, Danielle Harrington and Kyle Zaharias; great-grandchildren, Joshuah, Hartlee and Caydence Harrington, and Landon “STONE” Zaharias; sister, Carol Hartson; and a large circle of extended family and friends. Charlotte was an accomplished organist and pianist, a fire baton twirler in her high school, trained horses, a Patricia Stevens model, and worked as a professional secretary in New Berlin and West Allis School Systems, as well as working in her families business, Seymour Funeral Home and Ambulance Services of West Allis, WI. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 24 from 5:00 P.M. until service time at 6:00 P.M. at the Chesterfield Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Parkway, Chesterfield, VA. 23832. Burial will be Monday, October 28 at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin, WI.
