Mrs. Carstensen was born Sept. 9, 1940, in Yakima. Her maiden name was Holy.
She worked in food service for 40 years until retiring because of illness.
Mrs. Carstensen enjoyed going to the beach, gardening and shopping.
A service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Columbian, Tuesday, December 18, 2001
