Dennis Lee Vaughn, 62, of Groom died on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Groom.
Services will be 2:30 pm Friday, October 25, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Groom, with Andy Dietz, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Groom Cemetery in Groom.
Viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Robertson Funeral Directors in Clarendon.

Dennis was born on August 6, 1957 in Groom to Roy Lee and Lucille Bridges Vaughn. He married Kathy Sue Coe on February 1, 1979 in Groom. Dennis had lived in Groom his entire life except for a short period of time in Clarendon from 1981 through 1991. He had farmed most of his life around the Groom area. Dennis loved to hunt, fish, and anything else that involved the outdoors and was a member the "Bass Turds" fishing club in Groom. He had the most contagious laugh and loved to tell jokes. Most of all, however, he loved playing with his grandson, Eli. He was a member of the Groom First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lucille Vaughn; and by a sister, Doris Black.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Vaughn of Groom; 2 daughters, Amy Larkan and husband Danny of Amarillo, Jamie Tolleson and husband Coy of Panhandle; 2 sisters, Darlene Ledford of Skellytown, Betty White of Clarendon; 1 Papa spoiled grandson, Eli Joe Larkan; and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
