James Allen Head, 81, of Davison for past 11 years, formerly of Zephyrhills, FL & Lapeer. He was born April 3, 1938 in Pontiac to parents Clarence “Pete” and Nora (Robinson) Head. Jim graduated from Waterford High School Class of 1957. He married Phyllis Evilsizer on October 1, 1960 in Waterford.
Mr. Head was involved with the Boy Scouts, enjoyed camping from about 1963 – on and loved the Detroit Tigers. He retired from Pontiac Motors, in 1991 after 28-1/2 years, primarily as a machine operator on crank shafts. Jim truly relished the cruises he and Phyllis went on; five in total, one of which was for their 50th wedding anniversary.
Jim is survived by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis, children: Kevin (Dawn) Head of Attica; Becky (Brian) Muessig of Clinton, son-in-law: Dorsie Rose of AL, grandchildren: Jamie; Kris; Tiffany; Dominic; Coral; Shianne, great-grandchildren: Cody and MacKenzy as well as sister: Pam (Curtis) Beerens of AZ. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Karen Rose and his parents
