Mr. Welch was a former employee of WCC Foundry and Advanced Foundry, and a faithful member of the Dryden Road Pentecostal Church. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Preceded in death by his sister Phyllis Lewis.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years Rita S. (Crews) Welch, 2 daughters Crystal Welch and Christina Welch & fiancé Eric Karns, 2 sons Christopher Welch and Christian Welch & wife Kristina, his brother Jason Welch and wife Michelle, 6 grandchildren Anthony Karns, Dylan Karns, Abigail “Abby” Welch, Dakota Karns, Summer Knight and Charlotte Welch, 2 nephews Dean Lewis and Noah Welch, as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the Dryden Road Pentecostal Church, 3201 Dryden Road, Moraine, Ohio, with Rev. David Crews and Rev. Bennie Sutherland officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the Dryden Road Pentecostal Church. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
