Dan Jenkins, age 71, of Eddyville, KY passed away at his home on Monday, October 21, 2019. He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired Maintenance Supervisor with Silgan Closures. Dan loved woodworking, motorcycling, boating and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Connie (Crouch) Jenkins, Eddyville, KY; two sons, Scott Jenkins & wife, Brandy, Henderson, KY and Jeremy Jenkins & wife, Davina, Henderson, KY; one daughter, Kami Capello & husband Jake, Eddyville, KY; one brother, Gary Jenkins & wife, Sherie, Crystal Lake, IL, two sisters, Cathy Jenkins & husband, AL, Woodstock, IL and Debby Marcus & husband, Frank, Belvidere, IL; nine grandchildren, Amber Jenkins, Niko Capello, Dylan Capello, Jaiden Capello, Brody Jenkins, Chase Jenkins, Payton Jenkins, Logan Jenkins, Sam Capello and one great grandchild, Kaylee Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Louis Jenkins and Betty Jean Collier Nall and two sisters, Theresa Saeger and Charlotte Cummings.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 26, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Lakeland Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Eddyville, KY. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 26 at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Ronnie Fox officiating.
