Sarah had lived in Rogue River for over 40 years and enjoyed volunteering at the Rogue River Community Center for over 25 years. She had many tasks there, including running the front desk, making flyers for the center, helping with monthly fundraising meals, helping with the food pantry, helping with various center activities, doing paperwork, and other tasks as needed. She was also editor of the center's newsletter for several years and was the manager of the center's thrift store for two years.
Sarah is survived by her two sons and one daughter and their spouses.
Her husband, Robert, and her sons, Donald and Dennis, preceded her in death.
She had 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 7.5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Rogue River Community Center in her honor.
Interment will be at 10 a.m., Friday, November 1, 2019, at the Eagle Point Cemetery. Anyone is welcome and we are asking that on that day, whether you're coming or not, please wear purple in her honor, it was her favorite. A celebration of life will be in August 2020.
