Mr. Brian David Abraham, 49, of Seymour, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 18, 2019 in Destin, Florida. He was born in Seymour to the late Louis F. Abraham, Jr. and Marsha Abraham of Seymour.
Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Friday, October 25 at 10:30 am with Revs. Ralph Blomenberg and Philip Bloch officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday from 4-8 pm and at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Friday from 9:30 am until time of service.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He was a graduate of Seymour High School, class of 1988. He attended Franklin College where he became a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and then graduated from Ball State University in 1992 with a Bachelor's degree in education. Brian loved spending time with his family, including magical trips to Walt Disney World and relaxing on the beaches of Destin, Florida. He was a proud father watching his daughter grow through the years. Brian also enjoyed his work family at Burkart Crossing, owned by Lauth Properties, where he served as Property Manager. He had received special awards throughout his career.
Brian is survived by his mother; daughter, Briley Renee Abraham; daughter's mother, Kara Abraham; sister, Lisa (Douglas) Kloeker; uncle, Mark Kasting; aunt, Joan Kreinhagen as well as several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, Lyman and Bobbie Kasting; paternal grandparents, Louis F. and Mentoria Abraham.
