Robert served in the U.S. Army in Europe in World War II. While there he met Anna and they were married. He returned to the U.S. and she followed him on a bit later on a ship with other war brides.
Robert worked as an electrician in the electric wire and cable manufacturing plant on Bourne Avenue in Rumford at the time I met him (and married his daughter Tamara).
Bob and Anna lived at 32 Nelson Street in Rumford for many years where they raised their three children, Tamara, Pamela, and Robert. He suffered from heart disease and died undergoing heart transplant surgery.
