Bobby G. Myers, 49, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019. Bobby Gerod Myers was born on August 29, 1969, to Mary Myers and Haywood Hardin (Snoop) in Gastonia, North Carolina.
Bobby received his formal education at Ashbrook High School in Gastonia. In 1987, he enlisted in the United States Navy and honorably served his country for five years. After being discharged from the Navy, Bobby spent most of his professional career as a Tank Washer with Trimac Company.
On January 1, 2008, Bobby Myers was united in holy matrimony with Keisha Thomas in Gastonia, NC. Their union was blessed with 2 children.
Bobby had a great heart and was known as the life of the party. He was a charismatic, loving, and full of life. He loved his family wholeheartedly and he had an amazing love for his dogs.
Bobby Gerod Myers departed this life on August 25, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Haywood Hardin (Snoop); grandmother, Hattie Tate.
He is survived by his loving wife, Keisha Myers; daughters, Keishada Wyckoff (Eugene) and Keionta Stroud (Ryan); grandchildren, Ajaunae Reid and Vishaun Maxwell; mom, Mary Myers; grandfather, JB Myers; mother-in-law, Flora Brown; father-in-law, James Thomas; sisters, Amy Livingston (David) and Maranta White; brother, Germaine Hardin (Nikkita); best friends, Howard Hall, Derrick Moore (Harper), and Marlon Werts; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A public viewing for Mr. Myers will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at Boston's Mortuary 4300 Statesville Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28269.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Life Center International 11301 Granite Street, Charlotte, North Carolina 28273. Family visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and the funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens 1504 W Sugar Creek Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28262.
