Leon honorably served in the United States Navy and was employed at Toyota for 15 years. Leon had a passion for golfing and later shooting at the range. He loved his Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. He and his wife shared 37 years of marriage.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings John Jackson and Linda Jackson. He is survived by his wife, son, grandchildren, siblings, other relatives and many friends.
