Ann Combs, age 63, of Owenton, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY.
Born July 26, 1956, in Laurel County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Burchel and Elizabeth Taylor Wagers and preceded in death by her children, Hershel "Bubby" Combs, III, Trina Marie Combs; sisters, Mae King and Jacqueline Murphy and grandsons, Bryan Chandler and Justin Snawder. Ann was a homemaker, a farmer and a member of the Remnant baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Hershel G. Combs, Jr.; children, Maggie Ann (Fred) Roberts, Tonya Lynn and Jimmy Glen (Rebecka) Combs; siblings, Margaret Sue Gaines, Wanda Wagers, Anthony Bill Wagers, Toni Ann Stewart and Burchel David Wagers. Seventeen grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.
McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Remnant Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 11 to Noon and funeral services will follow at Noon with Bro. Darren Wolford presiding. Burial will be in the Combs Family Cemetery.
