Angie was born May 27, 1966, in Texarkana, Texas, to Billy and Othelene Compton. She was a Homemaker; and a member of Crossway Church, Queen City, Texas. She enjoyed spending time with her children and her grandchildren; as well as hunting and fishing. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Compton, Tommy Compton and her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Russell of Bloomburg, Texas; daughter, Dawn Mitchell and husband Allen of Bloomburg, Texas; son, Justin Battenfield and wife Samantha of Bloomburg, Texas; two brothers, Rickey Compton and wife Michelle of Bloomburg, Texas, Larry Compton of Bloomburg, Texas; five grandchildren, Lexi Sprawls, Whitney Sprawls, Kayleigh Battenfield, Bayleigh Battenfield, Hunter Battenfield and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, October 24, 2019 in Macedonia Cemetery, Doddridge, Arkansas, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.
