Linda C. Graves Chastain, 76 of Star City, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.

She was born March 25, 1943 in Jefferson County to the late Edward R. Graves and Bernice Stroble Hurst.

She was of the Baptist faith and was a retired store room clerk for International Paper, which she loved. She was a member of the Jefferson County Extension Homemakers Club and loved her family.

Also preceding her in death were her first husband, Billy Joe Davis, Sr.; her second husband, Jerry Chastain; son, Billy Joe Davis, Jr.; 2 grandchildren, Mandy Law and Kourtnie Chastain; and a great-grandchild, Jayden Davis.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Susan Beard, JoAnna Hankins, Tammie (Anthony) Healey and Renaye (Leonard) Cortright, all of Star City; 3 step-sons, Ronnie Chastain of Pine Bluff, Kevin Chastain of Bryant and Keith (Amy) Chastain of Star City; 4 brothers, Ray Taylor of Flippin, Mike Graves of Star City, William Hurst of Pine Bluff and Donnie Hurst of Star City; 3 sisters, Ann (Doug) Heird of Pine Bluff, Sheila (Nicky) Austin of Star City and Tracie Houser of Monticello; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2:00PM Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Joseph Pemberton and Bro. Shawn Foster officiating.

Visitation is 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial at Shady Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Joe Hickerson, Jordan Turner, Hunter Turner, Joey Chastain, Kyle Chastain, Bryson Haynes and Kevin Chastain.
