Billie Rose Harris, age 92, Unicoi, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She lived most of her life in Unicoi County and was a daughter of the late James and Adinah Deaton Moyers.

Mrs. Harris was a homemaker. She was a member of Higgins Chapel Baptist Church for thirty years.

Billie was an active member of the Erwin Senior Citizens Center for many years. She was a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program at the center. Billie enjoyed quilting, growing flowers & tomatoes, playing Rook and word puzzle books.

She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend. Billie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Harris; infant son, Kevin Harris; two brothers: Ralph and Charles; three sisters: Kate, Juanita and Armeta.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons: Randy Harris (Jamie) and Larry Harris (Cindy), all of Unicoi; one daughter, Sharon Rainwater (Stan), Johnson City; four grandchildren: Stacey Mayfield, Stephanie Harris, Andrew Harris and Lacey Harris; six great grandchildren; special niece, Geneva Saylor and several other nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 in the Unicoi Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Delbert Storie will officiate at the 1:00 PM funeral service. Music will be provided by Shelia Benedetto. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Swingle Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or those wishing may make memorial contributions in her memory to one of Mrs. Harris' favorite charities: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Department, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
