Valerie died peacefully at home after many years of struggles due to diabetes.
She is survived by both parents: Doug and Ann Pearson; Sisters: Lori Pearson Stokes, Lisa A. Pearson, Teressa L. Pearson; Special Aunt: Debbie Hunter Karpf, Nephews: Matthew Stokes, Forrest Stokes, Leeland Mason, Logan Mason; Great Nephews: Matthew Stokes, Taylor Stokes, Forrest Stokes.
Valerie was very loved by many friends and family. She was also loved by associates of the North Carolina Reinsurance Facility where she worked and retired.
Our family would like to thank Transitions LifeCare for their help and guidance so that we could bring Valerie home to live out her final days.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 28th at Montlawn Funeral Home 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM. There will be a service following at 3:00 in the Montlawn Chapel.
