Arden M. Neus, 56, of Rochester, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003, at his home.

He was born July 21, 1946, in Austin, to Bernie and Edith (Huseby) Neus. He was baptized and confirmed at Little Cedar Lutheran Church in Adams.

He graduated from Adams High School in 1964. He attended the Austin Vocational School and had schooling from IBM. He was in the US Army and Army Reserve from 1966 to 1972.

In 1996, he joined and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Rochester. He was also a member of the Rochester VFW.

He worked for IBM Computer Corporation in Rochester for over 30 years and Target for six years.

He was an avid collector of coins, gold pocket watches, guns, Egyptian artifacts, among other things.

Survivors include mother, Edith Neus, Adams; sister, Ardith Klouse, Mason City, Iowa; brother and sister-in-law, Arvid and Nancy Neus, Adams; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation: Saturday at the church for one hour before the service. There will be no reviewal.

Service: 1:30 p.m. memorial service Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at Little Cedar Lutheran Church in Adams with the Rev. Shari Mason officiating.

Interment: Little Cedar Lutheran Cemetery, Adams.

Funeral Home: Adams Funeral Home, Adams.

Memorials: To donors choice.
