Carolyn Ann Hays was born on August 9,1962 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Ola Evon Nelson & Tommy Ray Nelson. She went to be with the Lord on October 17,2019. Waiting for her in Heaven are her parents, grandparents and beloved pets, Shelby & Spencer.

Left to cherish her memories are two children Jason Hays and Amanda Hays. Two grandchildren Justin & Daphne Hays. Life partner Ray Booth. Pet, Cheyenne. Along with a host of friends like family.

Carolyns heart belonged to her life partner, Ray. He completed her life in a way no one ever has. Carolyn was passionate about life and people. She loved to put a smile on anyones face and always had a way of bringing laughter to a room. Carolyn loved her modest, country home in Frierson and enjoyed cooking for anyone who would sit at her table and laugh with her. She was firm in her belief in Jesus Christ and spoke of her second chance at life any opportunity she got. Carolyns favorite saying was "Life is beautiful".

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
