MRS. ETHEL LOUTRICIA BAUCUM LEE

Ethel (Loutricia) Baucum Lee was born on October 29, 1939 one of 14 children born of the late Foster and Ethel Gainey Baucum.

God called home His servant on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 while she was surrounded by family.

Loutricia graduated from Scotland County public schools.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Winford Keith Lee on October 30, 1960. She lived in Charlotte and later moved to Wadesboro.

Loutricia attended Central Piedmont Community College in her younger years and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked for many years as a private duty and skilled facility Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved people and loved caring for them when they were unable to care for themselves. She went above the call of duty to make sure her patients received tender loving care.

Loutricia loved and enjoyed her family. It was not unusual for her to travel with her children to visit family in Laurel Hill and Laurinburg, drive through Wadesboro, then go to Charlotte. She committed herself to family and others. She made sure family knew family and that family was alright.

Loutricia loved God. She confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She answered the Call of God on her life and served as an Evangelist. Unafraid to preach the Word of God, she delivered powerful sermons inspired by the Holy Spirit. She praised God.

Loutricia was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, great grandmother, and friend who made sacrifices for her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, dearly loved brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and granddaughters, Jayona “Cinnamon” Lee, Keirstein Pemberton and grandson, Keison Pemberton.

Loutricia leaves to cherish her memories her children, Mr. Keith (Quennie) Lee of Wadesboro, North Carolina; Mr. Vernon (Marjorie) Lee of Charlotte, North Carolina; Evangelist Lucretia (Pastor Daniel) Quick of High Point North Carolina; Dr. La Monica (Carl) Hunter of Durham, North Carolina; Ms. La Ronda Lee of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Mrs. Robin (Carl) Pemberton of Wadesboro, North Carolina; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Lethea Ford of Charlotte, North Carolina and Ms. Louise Baucum of Laurinburg, North Carolina; a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The Homegoing Services to celebrate the Life and Legacy of Mother Lee will be on Monday, October 21, 2019, 2:30pm, First Baptist Church, 722 Sikes Avenue, Wadesboro, North Carolina.

Interment will be on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, 11:00am, Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, North Carolina.
