Jeffery Allen Young

July 10, 1958-Oct. 6, 2019

Born in Springfield, Ill. to Roy and Anita Budde. In Feb. 1963 John Charles Young adopted him and his brother and sisters, changing their last name to Young. Jeff’s family moved to Placerville, Calif., in 1964 and he attended El Dorado High School.

Jeff worked building houses right out of high school and worked in the industry all his life. Jeff received his general contractor’s license and was known as Absolute Construction and then as Jeff Young Construction. Jeff liked to teach others and share his knowledge. He continued to build and remodel homes and was truly a man of all trades.

Jeff liked to ride quads, motorcycles, play darts, the 49ers and NASCAR. In July 2019, Jeff and Terrie and one of their best friends Mike Tryon moved to Burkesville, Ky., to live their dream. Jeff was checking his property lines and while going up a steep hill the quad rolled onto him, which resulted in fatally injuring him.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife Terrie Young, his mother Anita Young, brother-Greg Young (Kathi), sisters-Kari Young, Dawn Hubbard (Paul), Shelly Toffelmier (Mark), and kids; Dusti Babineau (Joe), Jeffery Young, Jarod Young, Ryan Farrer (Chelsea), Jarred Farrer, Grandkids; Tyler, Devonie, Kole and Madalyn Woodrow; great-grandkids Gracey and Alley Young, Abilgale Young, Kayden Woodrow and many other nieces and nephews.
