Marie Jordan Eckhardt passed away Monday, October 7th, at the age of 86.
Marie is survived by daughter, Brenda Segner and husband Dennis J. Segner of Fredericksburg; son Keven W. Eckhardt of Fredericksburg; son Robert L. Eckhardt of New York NY; 4 grandchildren: Craig Segner and wife Courtney, Scott Segner and wife Sage, Kyle Segner and wife Nicole, Otto Segner and wife Katie; 7 great grandchildren: Reagan, Kase, Landon, Finley, Kirbie, Hanah Segner and Elisabeth Manges; and sister-in-law Elsa Marie Jordan of Johnson City; nieces and nephews: Allen Jordan, Michael Jordan, Michelle Jordan Conlon, Claude Jordan, Claudette Jordan, Monique Roberts, Christy Cowling, Bryan Eckhardt, Kim Theriot and Kyle Eckhardt; special friends Chuck Baugarten and Kathy Myers as well as Susie and Ferrl Durst.
Marie was born June 4, 1933, in Ingram TX, to Birdie Allen Jordan and Dora Ray Jones Jordan. Marie married Lee Harry Eckhardt, October 17, 1954, in Bethany Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and siblings Allen Eugene”Gene” Jordan, Bennett Jordan and Judith “Judy” Ann Jordan.
Funeral services for Marie Eckhardt will be held 11 a.m., Friday, October 11th, in Bethany Lutheran Church, with Rev. Casey Zesch officiating. Graveside services will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers: Craig Segner, Scott Segner, Kyle Segner, Otto Segner, Wes Cowling, Michael Jordan and Chuck Baumgarten.
The family will greet friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 10th, in Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
