Son of Oree and Christine Couch. He was a 1961 graduate of Headland High School in East Point, GA and 1966 graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology. The day after graduating from Georgia Tech, he married Jenean Davis. He worked for Delta Airlines for 30 years and was the Chief Engineer for Ground Equipment. Surviving are his wife, Jenean Couch; daughter, Paulette Brown (Chip): son, Benjamin Couch (Jennifer); granddaughter, Presley Couch; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Ed and Jean Davis, and Steve and Jill Davis.
