Carl Phillip "Phil" Phil was born April 24, 1959 at Methodist Dallas Medical Center and passed from this life to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, October 15, 2019, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of cancer. He was preceded in death by his father Carl Pflueger Boriack. Phil was a loving husband, father, son, brother, mentor and friend, who found strength in his faith and his walk with God. He will be missed by his wife Stephanie Bazik; Daughters Jessica Maddocks (and husband Patrick), Jamie Grimaldo and Joni Bullard; Mother Dorothy Campbell (and husband Jim); Sister Pamela Holland; Grandchildren Elena Aleman, Lillian and Samuel Maddocks; Niece Alyssa Starnes (and husband Brad); Ex-wife Cheryl Espinoza and many other beloved family members, friends and neighbors. Phil was an enthusiastic member of the Praise Band at St. John Lutheran Church in Mansfield, TX, where he played bass guitar, and would often be found dancing on stage. Phil played in various Rock, Jazz and Praise bands over the years and won in Battle of the Bands with fellow band mates during the 80's. As one of the owners of Boriack Interiors, Inc., Phil became well known in commercial construction as an authority on commercial window coverings and acoustic wall panels. He loved discussing fenestration properties and sound absorption rates with anyone who would listen. He carried his faith in everything he did, feeling blessed to be given the opportunities afforded him. He was a teacher, leader, and visionary who others enjoyed following. He will be truly missed. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr, Arlington, TX on Friday, October 25, 2019, from 4:30-8:30pm. A celebration of life will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in Mansfield, TX on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11am. Burial will be at Little Bethel Memorial Park at 2pm after lunch at St. John. Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
