Paul Owen Dooley, 79 of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Raytown, Missouri passed away in his home on October 15, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born on May 27, 1940 in Norborne, Missouri to Owen and Edith ( Bowlin) Dooley. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kenneth Dooley. He graduated from Norborne High School in 1958 and attended Draughon’s College of Commerce and Central Missouri State College.

Paul was survived by his wife of 30 years Lori Dooley and her daughter Amber Hamilton of Kansas City, Missouri. He has two sons from his first marriage to Margie McFerrin: Randy Dooley (Kelly) of Raytown Missouri and Eric Dooley of Lee’s Summit, He has five grandchildren Tara Kelly, Alyssa Dooley, Brennen Dooley, Colin Dooley and Erin Dooley. His sister Rosemary Bruscato of Kansas City, Missouri and his brother Jerry Dooley ( Donna ) of Norborne, Missouri, along with many nieces, and cousins.

In 1974 Paul formed Paul O Dooley, Inc and worked in Raytown, Missouri until he joined Goering and Granatino, P.A. in 2017. He specialized in accounting, income tax planning and preparation, and consulting in the healthcare industry. He was a charter member, past president and regional director of the Medical-Dental Management Consultants. A charter member of the National Society of certified Healthcare Business Consultants. An enrolled agent to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. Past member of AMA Doctors Advisory Service, Institute of Certified Professional Business Consultants, Practice Support Initiative, American Academy of Family Physicians and fellow member of the National Association of Healthcare Consultants.

Paul’s civic activities and memberships included the Raytown Optimist Club, Sertoma International of Raytown and the Raytown Chamber of Commerce.

Paul was a wonderful husband, father and friend. His gregarious nature, optimism and sense of humor made him a pleasure to be around. He will be missed by all who knew him.
